Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing
I am currently studying Hairdressing in the Magherafelt Campus. I achieved my GCSE’s in St.Pius X College and in fifth year we got the opportunity to come visit the NRC in Magherafelt, we were given a guided tour of the college and my favourite part was the hairdressing salon as I have always had an interest in hair. I started off by choosing to go to a hair salon for my work experience and this is where I discovered I had a talent. I was very happy when I got accepted onto this course, since I have started the course I have now got my Level two in women’s Hairdressing and a certificate for ear-piercing. I also came 3rd in an intercampus Hair competition, I had an opportunity for part time work in a salon which I accepted and love. The salon work has greatly benefited me with all aspects of my course. I hope to own my own Hair salon in the future and go further with my Hairdressing Career.
