To celebrate this, we would like to invite Higher Education and Access students who successfully completed in June 2016 to join us at Graduation 2016 as follows:

Graduation is an extremely important occasion in your academic career. It is the culmination of all your hard work during your time at Northern Regional College. We want to ensure that your Graduation day is a happy memory for many years to come, so we have compiled some important information for you to note in advance of the day.


GRADUATION TICKETS
You will shortly receive a notification to your personal email address which details how you may purchase tickets for Graduation 2016. You may purchase your tickets using the EventBrite link (which will be provided in this email) until Sunday 27 November 2016. Tickets will not be available for purchase after this date. If you require further information please contact marketing@nrc.ac.uk. If you leave a daytime contact telephone number we will return your call.

TICKET OPTIONS
Graduation ticket   £55.00
Price of Ticket includes:
 2 complimentary guests
 Reception on arrival
 Attendance at the Graduation ceremony
 Hire of your graduation gown/hood
 Refreshments prior to departure

PAYMENT FOR TICKETS
To purchase your tickets for Graduation 2016, you must use the booking process on Eventbrite. This services uses a secure online payment system and you will be asked to pay for your ticket(s) by either credit or debit card (VISA/American Express/Mastercard)
Following the successful purchase of your ticket(s) you will receive a personal email to your address with the tickets attached. 

PRINTING TICKETS
You should print out a copy of your Eventbrite electronic tickets (including those of your guest/s).
You will need to present your Graduation ticket in order to gain entry to the Graduation Ceremony.
Your guest(s) will also be required to present their Guest ticket in order to gain entry to the Graduation ceremony.

ADDITIONAL TICKETS
Subject to space, additional tickets may be available from Monday 28 November 2016 until Wednesday 30 November 2016. Graduates may purchase one additional ticket at a cost of £10.00. The maximum party size will thus be Graduate PLUS 3 Guests.
You will receive an email from Eventbrite with a link for the purchase of additional tickets reminding you of this option.

MORNING CEREMONY
Tuesday 13 December 2016, 10.00 am

10.15 am  Guest Speaker
10.30 am  Presentation of Certificates and Awards
10.50 am  Address by representative of the class of 2016
11.00 am  Light Refreshments

Registration
You can register from 8.45 am on the morning of your ceremony. A dedicated registration area will be set up in the Clock Tower Suite within the hotel.

Gowns/Hoods
After you have registered, staff will direct you to collect your gown, hood and mortar board. You should leave AT LEAST 40 MINUTES before the start of the ceremony to do this. All gowns, hoods and mortar boards must be returned to staff before you leave the venue.

Graduands
Having secured your gown you should then proceed to the photography area (if you wish to have professional photographs taken) or enjoy some light refreshments. Please ensure you are seated by no later than 9.30 am
It is essential for the correct operation of the ceremony that you remain in the seat allocated to you by staff.

Guests
Guests will be directed to allocated guest seating areas. Please ensure your guests are seated by no later than 9.45 am

AFTERNOON CEREMONY
Tuesday 13 December 2016, 2.30 pm

2.30pm  Welcome by Governing Body member

3.00pm  Presentation of Certificates and Awards

You can register from 1.15 pm on the afternoon of your ceremony. A dedicated registration area will be set up in the Clock Tower Suite.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Dress Code
The College does not state a particular dress code for under your gown but as Graduation is a ceremonial occasion, you should dress appropriately for this.

Certificates
You will receive your certificate from your Awarding Body at the ceremony unless you have previously collected this from the College (in which case you will be presented with a mock certificate).

Photography
Official Graduation photography (provided by a commercial organisation) will be available in the event holding area from 8.45 am to 5.00 pm
You will be required to pay the photographer for this service on the day. As queues for this service can be long, you can plan to have your photograph taken before or after the ceremony.
The College will also have their own official photography taking roaming photos throughout the day for press and marketing materials. These will be made available for download after the event via a link on the College’s Facebook page.
You and your guests are very welcome to take photos during the Graduation Ceremony and if you are posting on social media please use the hashtag #northerngrad16

Terms and Conditions
Eligibility for Graduation 2016 is subject to successful completion of your programme of study and full payment of any associated fees.

If either condition is not met you will not be permitted to attend and a full refund will be granted where applicable.
