NRC Art & Design Students put on a show stopping end of year exhibition at the Ballymena, Magherafelt and Newtownabbey campus last week.
The shows featured the distinctive creative energetic mixture of work from students on the full time art and design courses, the BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design and the BTEC Foundation Studies in Art and Design. The majority of students have gained places in Higher Education establishments and will continue their work onto BA Hons level. The exhibition covered graphic design, fashion, textiles, painting, animation, ceramics and photography from the Level 3 Photography course.
At Magherafelt, this year’s exhibition was opened by Michael Brown, Head of Community Services at Magherafelt District Council.

Darlene Hagan-Bezgin Senior Lecturer in Art and Design said, “This was a major celebration of our students' endeavours and achievements whilst studying at NRC. We have the largest Art, Design and Creative Studies Department in the North East and we are committed to the provision of a broad range of subjects and putting the student at the centre of everything we do. We would like to thank everyone who attended the exhibition and supported the students.”
