Good Luck to our FSB Finalists


Northern Regional College is delighted to be participating in the annual Future Student of Business (FSB) Awards at Stormont Hotel, Belfast on Thursday 8 December. The Awards encourage students in Northern Ireland to be the ‘entrepreneurs of tomorrow’ are now in their thirteenth year and are organised by CollegesNI in conjunction with the Federation of Small Business.

This year we have two finalists competing:

Lauryn Kelly, Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Business with IT  and Caol Small, Foundation Degree in Business with Digital Technology.   Both students study at our Magherafelt campus. 

At the event Lauryn and Caol will display their business idea.  Judges will make their final decisions when they view the student displays at the Awards ceremony. 
The overall regional winner will receive a prize of £1,000.  Bursaries of £350 will be awarded to up to three students in each of the six regional FE colleges.  All 18 finalists will receive a Certificate which can be retained for CV portfolios.
