The Freedom of Information Act requires public authorities to produce a Publication Scheme. The purpose of the Act is to promote greater openness and more public access to the information published internally or externally by them.
The Northern Regional College published its Scheme in August 2007 following the merger of the North East Institute, Causeway Institute and East Antrim Institute. The publication of the Scheme is in accordance with a Model Publication Scheme for Further Education Colleges approved by the Office of the Information Commissioner.
The College will make available upon request copies of the information/publications listed in the Scheme.
