This course is fully funded by the Department for the Economy, under the Skills Intervention Programme, to support those who are resident in Northern Ireland and jobs have been affected by Covid-19. This course is a part of a suite of free online accredited courses that the College is offering, providing an opportunity to individuals or companies through Skills Focus funding (eligibility criteria applies) to upskill, retrain and gain a qualification with no costs associated.

The ability to manage teams, to communicate effectively and overcome barriers to achievement, is a critical skill for any manager. High performing cohesive teams are created in an environment where there is a collective understanding of values, goals and objectives. This qualification will support managers in understanding the nature of teams in the workplace, and how these can be managed to achieve results.

- Learners must be at least aged 16 years of age on or before 1 July 2020.
- There are no formal qualification requirements, however the College will ensure that learners have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessments.
