An exciting new training programme – Traineeship – is now available in a range of sectors from September providing participants with the skills and qualifications necessary to secure employment in their chosen occupation. Patrick Wallace, Principal Lecturer – Traineeships explains more about this new programme, from key features, entry requirements to progression.
Sean McAleese, Training Manager provides an overview of the apprenticeship programme including benefits of studying an apprenticeship, employer requirements and career progression.
Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA)
Similar to apprenticeships but at a higher level (Level 5), a Higher Level Apprenticeship is a nationally accredited work-based programme designed to meet the needs of employers for higher skills levels. Higher Level Apprenticeships are currently available in a range of occupational areas.
