“I studied Joinery at school, which got me interested and made me realise I wanted to become a qualified joiner. The facilities at the college are really good and the teaching is great too. Taking part in competitions like Skillbuild has helped me understand drawings better and improve my practical skills. I really enjoy the hands-on side of it and I’m hoping to move on to the Level 3 Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship and eventually go to Australia to work as a joiner there.”
