All students and staff will have full access to our comprehensive online library catalogue, known as Link. This user-friendly platform serves as a central hub for locating and exploring a vast range of academic resources, including books, journals, e-books, and other digital materials. Access to Link is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring that members of our academic community can conveniently search for and reserve materials whenever they need them, whether on or off campus.
Physical resources (print books) covering all subject areas, are located in the Study Centres. Most of these items can be issued on production of a student/staff ID card. Please note that some resources are available for reference only within the Study Centre spaces.
Use our online catalogue, Link to check an item’s location, availability and loan type. If an item is held at another campus, the Library Services team can arrange for it to be delivered to your chosen Study Centre.
Electronic resources such as e-books and e-journals content can also be searched for using Link. Subject specific databases e.g. SPORTDiscus, Academic Search Elite, ERIC and Medline, can also be accessed. College login may be required.
Library service staff can assist with access to these resources. Induction sessions and workshops are also offered within the Study Centres to help students develop their research skills.
