This event will support carers of autistic individuals by providing practical information, guidance and opportunities to connect.
This event is designed to support carers by providing practical information, guidance, and opportunities to connect with services, organisations, and fellow carers. The event will explore a range of topics relevant to the caring role, with a focus on supporting families, planning for the future, accessing services, and promoting wellbeing.
Participants will have the opportunity to choose and attend three morning workshops, selecting the sessions that best meet their interests and support needs. Following lunch, those attending will take part in two afternoon wellbeing sessions. They will have the opportunity to select one workshop of their choice, before coming together for a shared closing wellbeing session for everyone attending the conference.
The conference offers a valuable opportunity to gain knowledge, discover available supports, share experiences with others in similar situations, and take time to focus on personal wellbeing in a welcoming and supportive environment.
