Railway Track Engineering Apprenticeship

At Northern Regional College we offer Northern Ireland's first apprenticeship programme in Railway Track Engineering.  As an apprentice Railway Track Technician, you will work towards achieving a City and Guilds Level 2 Rail Engineering Operative Knowledge qualification and a City and Guilds Level 2 Rail Engineering Operative Competence qualification before progressing to relevant Level 3 qualifications. You must be employed by Translink Railway or another company involved in Railway Track maintenance work, for example On Track Technicians.  You will spend one day each week in class at our Ballymena campus and four days with your respective employer.
