This practical, hands-on evening course is designed for parents, carers and family members who want to learn simple, effective skills for managing and styling children's hair. You will be guided by experienced hair professionals and will learn essential techniques such as correct brushing, blow-drying, sectioning, dry trims, curls, plaits and age-appropriate styles alongside guidance on haircare and product advice. The course is suitable for beginners and focuses on achievable techniques that can be easily applied at home.

Application Process

When applying online for this Leisure Course, Step 3 does not need to be completed, as examination results are not required. Official photographic identification must be uploaded; applications without valid ID will not be processed.

You must be at least 16 years of age as of the 1 July 2025.
