Course Content
Develop your SolidWorks skills further with fabrication modelling and professional workflows.
This follow-on course for our SolidWorks Essentials course and is designed for learners who already understand basic SolidWorks modelling who want to expand their skills into more advanced tools used in engineering and manufacturing. (It is not suitable for beginners).
You will learn to:
- Create configurable designs using equations and design tables
- Build Top down (In-Context) assemblies
- Model sheet metal components and generate flat patterns
- Create weldment structures with automatic cut lists
- Produce fabrication drawings with BOMs and annotations
- You must be at least 16 years of age on or before 1 July in the year of proposed entry to the course.
- You must have completed the SolidWorks Essentials Course or equivalent experience.
