Daniel is completing a Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship at the College’s Magherafelt Campus, combining academic study with hands-on industry experience. Through his apprenticeship, he has developed key technical and practical skills while working full-time with Eden Fabrications, where he supports the fabrication of reinforcing and structural steel projects across Northern Ireland. His shortlisting recognises both his commitment to learning and his growing contribution in the workplace.
Reacting to the shortlisting, Daniel said, “I’m delighted to be shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year. My apprenticeship has given me invaluable hands-on experience and helped me develop both technically and professionally. I’m very grateful for the support from Northern Regional College and everyone at Eden Fabrications.”
A spokesperson for Eden Fabrications added, “Daniel has shown a strong work ethic and a real commitment to learning throughout his apprenticeship. He has become a valued member of our team, and this recognition is thoroughly deserved.”
