Northern Regional College opens the door to digital careers

Wednesday

As Northern Ireland’s Digital Industry flourishes, Northern Regional College is training the next generation of game developers. For many, a career in the video gaming industry sounds like a dream – but it’s a reality which is easier to achieve than most would expect. Northern Regional College’s Digital Games Development course teaches the core technical, practical and creative skills required to work within this highly lucrative industry, including: virtual reality, 3D digital animation and computer game design.

Northern Regional College’s Coleraine campus will hold an Open Day on Monday 4 February from 4pm to 8pm, and on Saturday 9 February from 10am to 1pm. Open Days are a great opportunity to visit the College and find out more about the courses and facilities on offer. Information will be available on Training/Apprenticeships, GCSE equivalent courses (Level 2 BTEC Diploma) and A Level equivalent courses (Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma), as well as higher education courses including Foundation Degrees and Higher Level Apprenticeships. Staff are available to provide advice and guidance on student finance, education support, careers and the online application process.
