Welcome to our Online Apprenticeship Event where you can find out more about our Traineeship and Apprenticeship programmes. We have a series of short videos to give you a flavour on how and what it would be like to become an apprentice. Courses

We offer a range of work-based learning programmes giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn. Our programmes offer real value to our students and are relevant to the needs of employers or to progression within education.

Traineeships

Patrick Wallace, Principal Lecturer – Traineeships provides an insight into the exciting new training programme – Traineeships – that is available from September. Information includes key features, entry requirements to progression.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are officially on the rise. Sean McAleese, Work-Based Learning Manager explains why and provides an overview of the apprenticeship programme including benefits of studying an apprenticeship, employer requirements and career progression.

Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA)

Similar to apprenticeships but at a higher level (Level 5), a Higher Level Apprenticeship is a nationally accredited work-based programme designed to meet the needs of employers for higher skills levels. Higher Level Apprenticeships are currently available in a range of occupational areas.
