Holly Robinson and Chloe McAuley, two Access Diploma in Social Science students, have graduated from Northern Regional College’s Ballymena campus upon learning about the multiple career avenues it could lead. Both graduates reflected on why they decided to study the course. Holly who had a role as a Cabin Crew team member for EasyJet, said the pandemic changed her mind set about her career.

Laurence, who has studied at the College for five years in total, completed a Level 2 and Level 3 in IT before completing the Level 5 HND in Creative Media.

Carolyn McLaughlin, a Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling Practice student, has graduated from Northern Regional College’s Ballymena campus after making the decision to change career after 20 years working in finance. Reflecting on why she decided to change careers, the Ballymena local decided that she wanted to help others, saying she “wanted to develop and fulfil a career that put others first.”

Before enrolling on the course, Khanyisa was a teaching assistant on a voluntary basis with a background in community work.
